"Helping the Needy to Help Themselves"
St. Vincent De Paul Society on SR510 serves more needy families than any charitable agency in the county. We help families improve themselves both economically & socially through direct outreach, counseling and gifting. Individuals and families in urgent need of food and shelter are assisted and then receive counseling and training on how to qualify for wage earning jobs. "Employment training is the way to self-sufficiency without judging past mistakes; It's our 'guiding hand-up.'
All services are funded by our thrift store sales of used clothing, furniture, appliances and donor dollars.
